Pedro Nave is the founder of NAVE Engineering having obtained the MsC in Civil Engineering by the Instituto Superior Técnico in 2008 and currently attending a  Specialization Course in Engineering and Management.

In 2008 he is awarded with the Secil University Award as the co-author of: Schematic Design of a Tall Building.

In the same year, Pedro starts his professional career at Afaconsult, where he works for 3 years as a Structural Engineer, being involved in several projects such as the New Coach Museum of the Pritzker Laureate, Paulo Mendes da Rocha, the renovation of several schools of the Government's initiative to upgrade schools nationwide, among others.

In 2011 joins Foster + Partners, worldwide famous architectural company, in London, to be part of the engineering team created on that year. His first project is a mixed-use building complex in Shanghai, that due to its seismic irregularity had to be approved by an Expert Panel Review. In the following years he works on the design the New South Terminal of the International Tocumen Airport, in Panamá, from schematic to construction administration, being on site for 6 months to support the contractor on this fast-track project.

He is promoted to Senior Structural Engineer in 2014 and is leading the design of several retail stores in China, with the highlight of Sanlitun's Apple Store in Beijing, that has a Special Truss Moment Frame as the structural system, opened in 2020.

By 2017, he is leading the structural design of a 120m (36 floors) tall tower in Budapest, Hungary to its DD stage.

In 2018, Pedro returns to his hometown, Lisbon, to work on ARC-IDC, company with a focus on healthcare architecture, where he works in the design of several hospitals and healthcare centers in the EMEA region.

In 2020 he decides to step up the challenge and with the knowledge accumulated over the years in design and management, he founds NAVE Engineering, his biggest and more ambitious challenge to date.
